One night, after one of our manager's meeting, my uncle, some members of the team and I were having a discussion about religion.
My uncle said something that struck me. He said that the reason why God gives one many blessings, may it be wealth or other material things, is because He trusts that person to share it with others. As an analogy, he said, "For instance, I have P25,000 in an envelope and I want to impart it with all of you. I ask Cat to divide the money with the rest of the (management) team. I gave her the money because I trust her and I know that she will divide the money with the rest of the team. But if I knew she wouldn't share the money with the team, I wouldn't entrust the money to her in the first place."
Countless times I always wonder why I am so lucky. Now I know why. And even if I always wonder why, I never forget to always say thank you.
(Disclaimer: I know my entry is somewhat vague as I am not really specifying why I am lucky. The purpose of this entry is to always remind me for years hereon why I am blessed and to not take my blessings for granted.)

Ok, I know I'm not exactly a part of the team, but is there anyway I can be included in that deal?
P.S. What your uncle said, would make for a really great quote!
that's one good anecdote from your uncle :) we really need to take more time and be grateful huh.
*i thank you God for all the cool bikinis i found this summer, especially those that make me look like i have you-know-whats and don't even go over 500 bucks. i will share it by showing it off*
